Where Do We Start?

The Monroe Trail-Head is located in downtown Monroe behind the old City Hall building next to Wells Fargo Bank.  You will find everything you need for a great day of cycling within walking distance of Monroe's trail head.

History, Scenic Countryside, Connectivity this ride has it all This 45 mile tour of Walton County takes you intimately into a tragic chapter into our nation's history.  The site of the 1946 Moore's Ford Lynching at the Apalachee River, the last known lynching in the United States.

Enjoy a ride back in time to 19 Century Walton County.  This  destination ride can be enjoyed in part or in whole.  For less experienced riders you can ride 10 miles out to The William Harris Homestead.  More seasoned riders can enjoy a 45 mile loop.  Check out the cue sheet to customize this ride.
